RTHK Radio 5 Interview: How Ankylosing Spondylitis Led Me to Start Maze Fathom

I was recently invited to RTHK Radio 5, on the program Colorful Journey, to share my story.

I spoke about the moment I first faced ankylosing spondylitis (AS), an immune condition that changed my life. Living with AS was not easy—there was fear, pain, and uncertainty—but it also gave me a new way of seeing resilience and what really matters.

That experience became the seed of my business, Maze Fathom. I wanted to design backpacks that are not only functional and durable, but also carry a deeper meaning—supporting people on their own journeys through challenges, dreams, and exploration.

What started as my personal struggle has grown into a mission. I’m grateful I could share this on air, and I hope my story can encourage anyone who feels lost in their own maze to keep moving forward.
